Dr. Noni Reina, MD, was born and raised in Argentina and the Latin culture - the language, music and human warmth - has been her source of inspiration ever since.

A highly reputable and experienced consultant pediatrician, Noni is also a specialist endocrinologist with extensive training in medical psychology, family therapy, child psychiatry and Buddhist psychology. She specializes in eating disorders, has worked with girls suffering from anorexia nervosa and previously ran the Child and Teenage Eating Disorder Clinic at the Meir Hospital near Tel Aviv. She runs a private child clinic at the Maccabi Health Service and also works as an external attending at the emergency unit at the Schneider Children's Medical Center, the largest of its kind in Israel, near Tel Aviv.

Noni has been a devoted Iyengar yoga practitioner for many years and trains 6 days a week. She studied art and sculpting and is a regular participant in group and solo exhibitions. Women - how suitable for our retreat! - are her favourite subject. Her last exhibition, "Woman Practising Breathing" included sculptures depicting the female body as a whole, then taken apart and put together again.
